We let you get familiar with:
• Ruby – a widely spread scripting language characterized by its flexibility and ease to use
• Watir (=Web Application Testing in Ruby) – a test automation library for Ruby, used to drive browser-based tests
This course starts from scratch and gives you the basic knowledge in using Ruby and Watir. It will give you a tool to write tests that are easy to read and maintain. We will also describe the benefits of building your own test framework and the techniques required.
